I am a proud public servant, a wife, and a mom to two funny, kind, and curious boys. I am the daughter of a strong and loving mother who inspires me every single day—and I share my home with a very sweet dog. I was born in Costa Rica, and grew up between there and Nicaragua.
I believe leadership should be rooted in honesty and driven by the voices of the community. I believe government should work for all of us—and I’m committed to making that happen.
I have worked in a variety of spaces—research, policy, nonprofits, city government, and community organizing. Currently, I am honored to serve as the Director of Immigrant Affairs for the City of Somerville, where I work to make local government more accessible, responsive, and fair for everyone who calls Somerville home.
I am running for Woburn School Committee because I believe every child in our city deserves access to a high-quality, inclusive, and well-resourced public education—regardless of zip code, first language, or ability.
